Emily combines the powers of Python and Docker to build stable and consistent machine learning and datascience python environments. Emily is useful for large cross-team project development as well as for simply running a single jupyter notebook or python script.

$ emily drop [...projects] [options]

Drop (but keep files for) one or more Emily projects, pruning Docker for the projects's containers, networks, and images, and removing them from emily list. Dropped projects can still be opened through Emily. Project files will remain untouched unless the --delete-files flag is passed.

$ emily drop my-project

Running Emily Drop

If you wish to drop a project from the list of your emily projects, run emily drop my-project in the terminal, where my-project can be a project ID, name or path.

Run emily drop without the project argument and select which projects to drop.

By default emily drop command keeps your project files untouched. If you wish to delete them, use the --delete-files or -delete options.

    Options

  • -h,--help

    Display help for command

  • -delete,--delete-files

    Delete the project files (cannot be undone). (default: false)

  • -stop,--stop-container

    Stop the container if it is currently running. (default: true)

  • -s,--silent

    Execute Emily silently. (default: false)

  • -u,--update(--no-update)

    Prompt for update if newer version found. (default: true)

  • -vb,--verbose

    Print detailed information while running commands.
